AFTER CARE
Day 1 (24 hours after treatment):

Depending on how much lymph is coming out of the skin, clean the area every 2-3 hours in between by wiping the it with the wet cotton pad or rinse out the skin using distilled water or cooled down boiled water.

Do not stretch the skin while wiping. Skin is well-cleansed when there are no traces of pigment on the cotton.

Wait for a minute for the skin to dry, then apply a thin layer of the prescribed balm.

At night before going to bed, make sure to wash the treated area with distilled water and a mild soap. Pat dry and apply the balm after.

Day 2-7:

Morning and night: Maintain facial hygiene and apply the balm after you have washed and cleaned your face.

Dry and Normal Skin types:

Repeat applying the balm 2-3 times a day for the next 6 days or whenever there's tightening of the skin.

Oily Skin:

For the next 6 days, only apply the balm if you feel stretching of the skin on the treated area.

Note that success of the treatment will always depend on skin quality, aftercare, and exposure to external influences. These factors aren't under control of the artist thus, any guarantee for the treatment is not possible.

After procedure and
long term care
Clients MUST follow these instructions:

-
Always wash hands before touching tattooed areas.

-
Do not put makeup or any other cream (unless prescribed by your technician) on the area for a minimum of 10 days. Please wait at least the surface area is healed as it is an open wound. This may cause the pigment to spread and applying makeup can cause infection.

-
No neosporin, vaseline, or other petroleum products while the area is healing.

-
It will feel slightly itchy as it heals and will start to lightly scab over. Do not scrub, scratch, peel, or pick at the scabs as this might lose colour and affect outcome that may not be repairable. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can also cause scarring.

-
No physical activity that will cause excessive sweating for 2 weeks following your procedure. This expands the pores and can make pigment to spread and cause it to look blurry.

-
Do not go swimming, tanning, or go to saunas for at least 14 days after treatment.

-
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after procedure. Tanning (even after healing) can prematurely fade pigment, can change colour and make it appear ashy, and can overall affect pigment retention.

-
It is advisable to apply sun protection for long term care. Once surface area is healed, you may apply SPF in between touch up appointments and thereafter.

-
NO facials, botox, or chemical treatments for 4 weeks. Face peels, even mild ones, microdermabrasion, kojic-acid based products, carrot soap, products with metathione and laser treatments may cause pigment to lighten. Any removal of dead cells on brow area can cause premature fading.

-
No anti-acne products (e.g. Benzoyl Peroxide, Pro-active) or lightening creams, bleach creams, hydroquinone on or around the area since they will cause rapid fading.

-
No anti-aging products or facial products containing alpha hydroxyls (AHAs), Retin-A, lactic or glycolic acids on the procedure site. These chemicals will also prematurely fade pigment.

-
Do not wax, thread or use any hair removal products around the eyebrows area until two weeks following the procedure.

-
Do not over apply healing balm.

-
We advise not to make social plans for the same day as there may be some swelling and redness after the procedure.

-
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 7 days.
