SWiCH, Circadia's signature treatment, is your all year round and summer-safe alternative to a Jessner Peel, Microneedling or Fractional Laser. It is a unique alternative to chemical peels that takes advantage of the skin's natural repair mechanism without causing damage. When performed on the appropriate candidate, it is very safe and does not burn the skin, as a traditional peel treatments can. Skin Type: all skin types - aging, hyperpigmented Benefits: Activates the body's natural repair and renewal system Initiated increased cell-to-cell communication Promotes healing and immune defense Supports increased energy production in dermal and epidermal cells Brightens skin and reduces pigmentation Safe and gentle Little downtime following treatment Indications: clients who are over the age of 37, keratinized, loss of elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, dull lackluster skin Contraindications/Considerations: Severe inflammation or couperose skin, claustrophobia, grade III-IV acne, allergy to aspirin or citric acid of any kind including oranges, lemons, grapefruit etc., pregnant or trying to become pregnant, Accutane within the last year, currently using antibiotics, using glycolic, Retin-A or Renova in the last 4 weeks, laser, herpetic breakout, broken or inflamed skin, a peel within the last 8 weeks. Mandatory Pre/Post Care: Cease Retin-A Renova, glycolic acids 4 weeks before the treatment. Do not resume until SWiCH series is complete. Take home care is included in the kit. Avoid sun exposure for 3 days post treatment Avoid excessive heat for 24 hours post treatment (heavy workouts, steam rooms, saunas, etc.) Avoid Chlorine for 24 hours post treatment Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours Recommended treatment plan: Performed monthly for a recommended series of 6-10 treatments.
